LaRoboterie inaugura un nuovo inizio di stagione dopo la clamorosa chiusura dell'INIT del quale continuiamo ad aspettare la riapertura restando vicini a tutti gli amici e le amiche che hanno fatto di quel posto un vero e proprio punto di riferimento per il mondo della musica alternativa a Roma e in Italia e per tutti quelli che come noi, nonostante tutto, continuano a fare con passione e dedizione questo lavoro. Da Venerdì 4 Novembre ci trasferiamo per un appuntamento mensile al Brancaleone, storico tempio dell'elettronica di qualità, dove in collaborazione con gli amici di Musthard, altri orfani di Init, porteremo due dei nomi più importanti della scena elettronica attuale: Djedjotronic e Housemeister. Vere e proprie punte di diamante della Boys Noize Records con già all'attivo numerosi album ed EP di enorme successo oltre a storici remix e collaborazioni d'eccezione, saranno loro a far esplodere la nostra prima notte al Branca affiancati come al solito dai nostri resident djs, guidati da St.Robot, che saranno il trait d'union tra il suono violento dei due geni dei beats e la camaleontica attitudine de LaRoboterie a intrecciare le sue sonorità con quelle dei propri ospiti. L'inaugurazione della collaborazione con il Brancaleone sarà quindi una Boys Noize Records Night, appuntamento imperdibile del prossimo venerdì 4 novembre.

Jeremy Cottereau aka Djedjotronic ha scoperto la musica elettronica attraverso la WARP e la UR un decennio fa. Jeremy ha iniziato la sua carriera dopo l’incontro con Popof, collaborando con lui per numerose collaborazioni e suonando in tour insieme sotto il nome di ‘Wee Kids’. Il suo stile particolare è un mix tra potenti beats, derive acide e la tekno più malata, il suo suono sembra costruito appositamente per far esplodere la dancefloor. Il suo EP di debutto ‘Turn Off’ è uscito nel 2007 per la Level 75 riscuotendo da subito un gran successo. Il suo secondo invece, ‘Dirty & Hard’ nacque da una collaborazione con il rapper sud-africano Spoek e fu pubblicato nel marzo 2009 dalla Boys Noize Records. Il 2010 è stato un anno denso di episodi importanti per la vita artistica di Djedjotronic. La sua traccia ‘Feta’ è contenuta nella compilation della BNR ‘Miami Noize’ mentre il suo terzo EP ‘Bit This Thin’ vede la luce pochi mesi dopo sempre sulla stessa etichetta. Quest’ultimo lavoro è la perfetta fusione tra la jackin’ house più sfacciata e la techno music più classica e con ‘Bit This Thin’ Jeremy sembra aver creato un suono che spazia tra mondi differenti senza restare chiuso tra i confini di alcun genere. Questo enorme successo e la sua affermazione all’interno del così vasto mondo della musica elettronica hanno fatto si che Djedjotronic iniziasse a mettere le mani su alcune tracce di artisti incredibili tra i quali Tiga, Unkle, DSL, Das Pop, Birdy Nam Nam, Etienne De Crecy, The Faint, Boys Noize, Gonzales e Chromeo solo per citarne alcuni. In tour da solo o con i suoi colleghi della BNRecords Jeremy ha fino ad oggi partecipato ad alcuni tra gli eventi e i festival musicali più importanti d’Europa e del mondo. Pukkelpop, Dour, Mystery Land, Plages Electroniques, Nuit Sonore e quest’anno anche al Sonar di Barcelona, suonando dopo Aphex Twin e subito prima di Boys Noize. ‘The Invisible Landscape’ è contenuta nella compilation di Busy P e DJ Mehdi ‘Let the Children Techno’ mentre ‘Fritz’ è la traccia di apertura del ‘Miami Noize 2011’. Due sono i remix usciti quest’anno per i Chromeo mentre il suo pezzo ‘Uranus’ è arrivato al #1 della classifica Electronica di Beatport.
Djedjotronic (Jeremy Cottereau) discovered electronic music through Warp and UR a decade ago. Jeremy started his career meeting the now famous Popof, releasing several collaborations and touring together under the name « Wee-Kids ». His particular style is a mix between pumping computer beats and insane techno, all about making people rave. Djedjotronic’s smashing debut EP "Turn Off" was released in 2007 on Level75 and got huge support. His second EP “Dirty & Hard” was a collaboration with South African rapper Spoek released on Boysnoize Records in March 2009. 2010 has also been a fruitful year for Djedjotronic. Apart from appearance on “Miami Noize” compilation by Boysnoize Records with his track “Feta”, his third maxi EP “Bit This Thin” was released on the same label. It's a fusion of modern jackin’ House and Techno music, creating a sound which crosses genre boarder. This great success gave him the chance to work on remixes of well-known artists like Unkle, DSL, Das Pop, Tiga, Birdy Nam Nam, Etienne De Crecy, The Faint, Boysnoize, Gonzales, Chromeo to name a few. Touring alone or playing together with his colleagues from Boysnoize Records crew Djedjotronic has now participated in most of major electronic events worldwide. Pukkelpop (BE), Dour (BE), Mystery Land (NL), Plages Electroniques (FR), Sonar (ES), Nuit Sonore (FR) are just some of the festivals he has recently played. 2010 was a special year for Jeremy as it is the first time when he played at I Love Techno (BE), the 15th year of this famous electronic music festival. The in demand artist starts 2011 on fire! Producer of two killer remixes for Chromeo. Releasing "The Invisible Landscape" on Busy P and Dj Medhi Compilation named "Let the Children Techno" (Tsugi #38 cover). Charting his analog bomb “Uranus” #1 on the Beatport Electronica charts. Opening Miami Noize 2011 with the powerfull “Fritz”. Jeremy strikes back on BNR TRAX with some Techno goodness that is Bugle and Tetris.

Nato l’11.11.1977 nel punto in cui il freddo mar Baltico divora le coste della Germania, Housemeister arriva a Berlino all’età di 5 anni per assistere a 12 alla caduta del muro. Tempi che segnano cambiamenti e da subito il piccolo HM decise di cavalcare questa potente onda di rivoluzione. Nel 94 a Berlino regnava l’anarchia più totale. Punk e rap, piatti, vinili e basement parties, MayDay e Love Parade, erba e bombolette spray, documenti falsi e 150 bpm, E-Werk e Tresor, Walfish e Electric Ballroom tra i più famosi club della capitale tedesca. Nel 95 la sua vita si spostò a Kreuzberg insieme al suo amico di sempre in una casa giusto al lato dello storico Hardwax record Store. Proprio qui iniziò a mixare high energy music e da quel momento non si è più fermato. Nel 99 già si era affermato con alcuni suoi release per il collettivo della BPitch e da quel momento mezza Europa cominciò a capire cosa c’è da aspettarsi ogni volta che si decide di entrare sull’astronave di HM: ecstasy da dancefloor violenta, sporca, spietata e totalmente hardcore. Techno nella sua espressione più piena. Housemeister continuò a diffondere il verbo del rave suonando ogni weekend senza soste e celebrando continuamente la noize tipica della folla che si accalca sotto la consolle e sotto cassa. Nel 2005 esce il suo primo album ‘Enlarge Your Dosis’ su Boys Noize Records. Da qui un’esplosione di date, concerti, live e dj set, la consacrazione di Housemeister in eterno movimento. Da qui la nascita della sua etichetta la ‘allyoucanbeat’ nel 2006 e del suo secondo acclamatissimo album ‘Who’s That Noize?’ nel 2008. Housemeister non dorme mai, questo è risaputo, produce, suona, remixa e collabora con artisti tra i quali Boys Noize, Modeselektor, Bonaparte, Goose, Zombie Nation, Siriusmo, Alexander Kowalski, CLP, Tok Tok e moltissimi altri. Le sue sporche mani le mette un po’ dappertutto alzando i volumi dei mixer e firmando alcuni tra i classici della produzione elettronica dell’ultimo decennio. Nel marzo 2011 insieme a Boys Noize fa uscire un nuovo capolavoro che suona come un colpo violento sparato dritto in testa, ‘Shizzo’. Neanche quest’ultima fatica riesce a fermare la sua corsa e dopo aver cavalcato l’onda, dopo essere sopravvissuto a un decennio di deliri si ritrova adesso con un nuovo meraviglioso album su BNRecords. ‘Music Is Awesome’ e mai titolo fu più appropriato.

Times they were a-changin', in fact times hit like a tsunami, and little Housemeister decided to ride that wave like a motherfucker. So by '94, anarchy reigned. Punk and Rap, Turntables and Basement Parties, Love Parade und Mayday, Weed and Spray Cans, Fake IDs and 150bpm, E-Werk and Tresor, Walfish and Electric Ballroom. By '95, he hit Kreuzberg, central Berlin, moving in with his best friend and legendary Hardwax Record Store right around the corner. He's been mixing high-energy music ever since. By '99, Housemeister was spinning all over the place, releasing 4 maxis with the BPitch collective, the first of which awkwardly being licenced by Karl Lagerfeld. By now most of europe knew what you get when entering the Housemeister Spacecraft: relentless, hardcore, dirty dancefloor ecstasy. Everybodys hands in the air, everbodys booties bouncing hard: techno in its total beauty. Housemeister kept riding the wave, spreading the rave, playing everywhere and every weekend, celebrating the living crap you can beat out of tools and crowds alike: the noize. So in 2005, he released his debut album „Enlarge your Dose“ on BoysnoizeRecords. You know that old proverb went „party like there's no tomorrow“; after „Enlarge your Dose“, it was „party like there's no too much“. More releases on BNR followed, more gigs, more girls, more boys, more noize, so hyperactive Housemeister couldn't help but set up his own label allyoucanbeat in 2006, releasing 10 more records leading up to the infamously acclaimed „Who's that Noize?“ album of 2008. This shit hit the fan, and Housemeister started playing the world. So who is that Noize? A party-hard, no-bullshit bastard with a great sense of humor. A stray dog blend of city culture and animal instincts. A legend really. Housemeister never sleeps, they say. Producing and releasing, playing and partying all over the world, remixing and having stuff remixed by BoysNoize, Modeselektor, Bonaparte,, Goose, Zombie Nation, SiriusMo, Alexander Kowalski, CLP, TokTok and many more, basically getting his dirty hands dirtier in any damn thing that's music and loud. In march 2011, he and BoysNoize released another full-length blow to the head: „Shizzo“. But Housemeister don't stop. He's mastered the wave, he's survived the rave and he's surely come out on his own two feet. The man is the message, and his new album is the shit. After all, if you can say it all in three words, who really needs a pussy ass biography? The new album is out on BoysnoizeRecords, and it's called „Music is Awesome“ - and that's that, bitches!
