►Babylon Joke [OQP, Iot]:
Babylon Joke è uno dei nomi storici della scena underground della musica elettronica europea. La sua vita ha gravitato da sempre attorno alla musica, studiando sax al conservatorio e capendo subito l'importanza delle contaminazioni all'interno del proprio mondo sonoro. Vivendo tra Marsiglia e Algeri inizialmente era atratto dal roots raggae e dalle sonorità punk rock. Si avvicina al mondo delle sonorità e delle ritmiche ettroniche coi New Order. E' da questo momento che decide di perdersi in un mondo fatto di campionamenti e loop diventando così uno dei pionieri della scena tekno. I suoi live set sono contraddistinti da echi di sonorità etniche, ritmi tribali con numerose derive trance. Per anni è stato l'elemento di spicco dello storico sound system francese degli Okupe producendo svariati vinili sin dalla prima metà degli anni novanta. Adesso i suoi lavori escono per l'etichetta IOT Records e le sue apparizioni continuano a far esplodere i dancefloor di mezzo mondo.

At the age of 15 years old Traxx Dillaz learn his first instruments :
the bass and the string bass at the music academy of Aix en Provence during 3 years.
The starting point was when he realized that he was attracted by the new techno mouvment
music and other raves or huge free parties, hence his envy to start to mix and compose his
own sounds. In parallel he organized and headed his first raves and parties in the surrounding
of Marseille, which is also his native town. And also through Europe among countries, such
as Germany, Nederland, Italy, Spain and many others places with his sound system called
« O.Q.P »
Nevertheless, in 1997 he gave up mixing and organizing parties for a while to focus on music
productions essentially for his new labels called « OKUPE PRODUCTION » & « TAPAGE
NOCTURNE RECORDS ». at this time he’s also the Producer of famous artists like FKY,
BABYLON’JOKE, TEKNAMBUL …
From 1999 to 2002 he also moved to Italy to record his first album, and meanwhile he worked
on show/episode jingles for MTV ITALY and VIVA MUSIC.
In 2002 he release his first album on french label EXPRESSILLON before take the road for
an européen tour during all this year.
In 2004/2005 he decide to stop producing tekno style for moving into électro french touch
music. For close his tekno carrier he build the cd/dvd project called OKUPE – BACK UP
release on Uwe records before starting a new européen tour during all this year.
It’s in 2005 that a project emanated between some friends from Toulouse : Difuzion was born,
and a band appears composed of SOPHONIC, XPLCT, DJ GON and TRAXX DILLAZ.
As a producer and songwriter of several maxis on different labels, he collaborated with
LEVEL 75, MONSTERecs, NSOP Rec, Plasmapool Rec, Kiez Beats, and his own latest one
called CHAMP’CAINE RECORDS.
In addition, artists such as DIM from Boys Noize records, didn’t hesitate to remix his first EP ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
